BizActions and Twitter
What is
?
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters, displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers). Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow anybody to access them. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications.
Why does BizActions use
?
Twitter allows key BizActions personnel and departments to quickly send updates to those individuals that follow them. Although postings in each client's Sponsor Center, as well as email newsletters and email radar will continue to be used to post detailed information, Twitter is so quick and convenient that it allows us to distribute virtual real-time information. Twitter's concise 140 character limit ensures information must be relevant to the topic at hand. Additionally it allows linking to existing documentation if warranted. Twitter allows us to provide information that otherwise might not be disseminated because it simply isn't efficient to write detailed articles on the multitude of information we are exposed to on a daily basis. Plus this page will give you easy access to all key BizActions personnel and those sources we follow that you may find of interest.
How does BizActions use
?
BizActions posts to Twitter from several corporate accounts that you can access from this page below. Open your own free account by going to http://twitter.com/. Then follow any or all of BizActions Twitter accounts with the click of your mouse. Your Twitter account will be updated as BizActions "tweets" their messages. You can choose to receive these tweets through your browser and/or your telephone. Rest assured that BizActions tweets will be frequent enough to make following us beneficial, but not so frequent that you feel bombarded with information. BizActions will never be tweeting personal information, just solid insights, recommendations, tips and professional business news you can use.
